  1. What can the Chamber of Commerce do for my business?

    The Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce offers great benefits and services to your business. Networking and promotion are two great ways to promote your business, Host a Business After Hours event, offer a discount through the Membership Discount Card, participate in the Hitch A Ride With Us, or become involved in a Task Force. By becoming involved in the Chamber you are opening your business to hundreds of potential consumers. Show that you are interested in the growth of the community and economy, join today.

  2. How does the Chamber help the community?

    Through the support and creation of programmes such as Cayman Crime Stoppers, Put Drugs out of Business, Earth Day events, The National Mentoring Partnership and scheduling work place visits and career exploration for students the Chamber had proven time and again that community development is an important part of the Chamber.

  3. Can I volunteer at the Chamber of Commerce?

    Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated. Volunteer positions are available in various Task Forces or at the Chamber of Commerce office. You do not need special skills or training to participate. Fill out the form below to submit available times or days that you would like to volunteer.

  4. How much does it cost to join the Chamber of Commerce?

    Compared to what benefits membership provides the cost is minimal.

    • Sole Proprietorship CI $200.00
    • 2 – 5 Employees CI $200.00
    • 6 – 10 Employees CI $375.00
    • 11 – 20 Employees CI $600.00
    • 21 – 50 Employees CI $875.00
    • 51 – 100 Employees CI $1250.00
    • 101 – 150 Employees CI $2425.00
    • 151 – 500 Employees CI $2525.00
    • Not-For Profit Organisations CI $175.00
      Non Voting Member (under10 employees)
    • Overseas Company Non-Voting Member US $180.00
    • Individual Non-Voting Member CI $100.00

    Please note that a one time processing fee of CI$25 for local businesses and US$30 for overseas businesses is included in your initiation dues. A copy of the company’s Trade and Business License, Bank and Trust Company License or a Certificate of Incorporation must accompany membership applications.

  5. Can I join if I have 2 employees or 200?

    Of course, businesses of all sizes are able to join the Chamber of Commerce. Non-profit organisations, overseas companies and individual membership options are also offered by the Chamber.

  6. Who do I talk to about a policy issue?

    Policy Issues are assembled by the CEO and Chamber of Commerce Board members. For questions concerning a policy fill out the form stating your questions or concerns and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  7. Who do I talk to about annual events?

    Our Programmes Director schedules and organizes all of the training and events scheduled through out the year. Email her about specific events at info@caymanchamber.ky.

  8. My company would like to sponsor an event who do I talk to?

    The Chamber of Commerce’s Programmes Director is responsible for obtaining event sponsors. Your business can be a major sponsor for something as large as the Business Expo or become a brand sponsor for a smaller event. Becoming a sponsor is an effective way of advertising though out the community. Contact info@caymanchamber.ky to become a sponsor.

  9. Does the Chamber offer training courses or continuing education?

    The Chamber of Commerce offers over 65 different types of courses through the Professional Development & Training Centre. Offering topics that are encountered by large and small businesses each day:

    • Business Basics
    • Business Legislation & Human Resources
    • Finance
    • Supervision and Management

    Each course is taught by professional instructors with many years of experience.
