Business Expo is the Chamber's largest event spanning 3-days with an average of 40 sponsors. This event promotes the newest products and services with a focus on technology to the community.
Business After Hours is a monthly event hosted by a different member to promote a new product or service, celebrate a milestone or introduce themselves to the membership. Between 100 and 300 members attend these networking events to learn about fellow member businesses, create new business contacts and catch up with old friends.
Career, Education, Training & Job Expo This event allows companies to meet with interested and proactive students and prospective employees seeking to learn more about their chosen career and higher education opportunities.
This is a two-day event. Forums
on different topics are hosted by the Chamber throughout the year, dependant on current issues, such as Constitutional Modernisation, Industry forums etc. In election years, the Chamber organises and moderates Candidates' forums in each of the districts.
Earth Day Roadside Clean- Up is an annual Earth Day awareness
event attracting hundreds of volunteers. Since 1997 the goal has been to educate members
of the community about protecting and preserving the environment.
Golden Apple Awards For Excellence in Teaching Twenty-one outstanding teachers and principals are honoured at this black-tie gala event, with seven educators awarded the Golden Apple Award LIVE on Cayman27. A Lifetime Achievement Award is also presented to a visionary leader in education, chosen by the public. The Chamber of Commerce believes that by appreciating our island’s most valuable resources, our educators, we send a message to our youth of the importance of education.
Golf Classic with title sponsor RE/MAX is the Islands’ “Most Fun” annual charity golf tournament. The charities benefiting from this fundraising event include Cayman HospiceCare, The Pines Retirement Home and Chamber of Commerce Programmes. This is an ideal event for members to network with potential clients, pamper existing ones or reward top employees in a relaxed atmosphere.
Luncheons feature different speakers on current topics affecting the membership and the business community as a whole. Members are able to meet with other members and learn about the issues affecting their business whilst enjoying an affordable lunch.
International Trade Missions are an important membership benefit and a key strategic and economic development focus for the Chamber of Commerce. Since the Cayman Islands rely mainly on imports, the advantages of trade missions to source new locations for products, especially for small companies, is significant.
