16TH Annual Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) set for April 2024

Save the date: the 16th annual Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) returns to the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida, on April 24-26, 2024!

The Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) explores renewable energy investment opportunities across the region. The Forum brings together around 500 delegates, including government officials, representatives from utility companies, regulators, multilateral organizations, developers and capital and technology providers from more than 20 Caribbean countries. Ministerial roundtable, panel sessions and plenaries will address renewable penetration scenarios for island utilities; grid integration; a clean transportation roadmap; accelerating private sector investment; geothermal energy; smart grids; and mapping international and regional collaboration on energy security. Panel discussions will focus on different countries, including Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica.

CREF is the premier annual meeting place for regional and international leaders who are united in a common goal: to ramp up investment in the renewable energy transition across the Caribbean. In addition to the many speakers, there are other energy events such as networking receptions, workshops, and two full days of programming.

This conference was launched in 2009 to enable governments, utilities, and investors to explore opportunities for investment in energy throughout the Caribbean and to network with energy professionals across the region. Find out more, and register: https://newenergyevents.com/cref/
