Cayman Chamber delegates to attend World Chambers Congress in Dubai
President Mike Gibbs and CEO Wil Pineau, CCE will represent the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce at the 12th World Chambers Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates later this month. The World Chambers Congress gathers Chambers and business leaders from more than 100 countries every two years to share best practices in international trade, commerce and Chamber operations and initiatives. Taking place under the theme, ‘Generation Next: Chambers 4.0,’ this year’s event is designed to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required to turn digital disruption into opportunity for people and planet. The three-day event will enable chamber and business leaders – and a host of prestigious presenters from the world of technology, academia, and politics – to discuss ways to overcome obstacles, set a global agenda, and create a collaborative action plan to ensure chambers remain trusted and relevant leaders in the 21st century. President Gibbs and CEO Pineau will also visit the Expo 2020 Dubai which features 192 country pavilions showcasing innovation and technology, arts and culture, health care, business and entrepreneurship and education programmes.
