Religious Organisations 

Religious organisations are an important part of life in the Cayman Islands. We have a multi-cultural community – over 200 churches and almost every denomination faith is represented.

St. Alban’s Church of England

St. George’s Anglican Church

Cayman Islands Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman

First Baptist Church is a diverse, multicultural congregation that offers a welcoming atmosphere with over 350 members and 30 nationalities. The church meets on Sundays at 10.30am every week. Throughout the year their weekly programmes change, but often include: Sunday School for all ages at 9.15am; Spanish Worship Service (third Sunday of each month); Spanish Bible study on Thursday evening at 6.30pm and, every Friday night, the SPARK Children’s Club and Ignite Youth Group meets at 7pm. Sunday Services 10am at the Harquail Theatre, with the opportunity to socialise afterwards with complimentary pastries and coffee. Nursery Care and a Children’s Sunday School are also available as well as a weekly youth group meeting. Services last approximately 80 minutes. Community Groups meet throughout the week at various locations and they also hold a monthly Women’s Gathering called Flourish.

Prayers are held five times daily, plus Friday (Jummah) prayers at 1pm. During the month of Ramadan, daily Taraweeh Prayers are offered. The Muslim community of Cayman is very small, but the diversity of the community makes up for what it lacks in size.
