Digital Resilience in an Age of Rapidly Evolving Ai Webinar

The High Commission of Canada is pleased to extend an invitation to Chamber members for an upcoming Webinar on Thursday, September 21, at 2:00 – 3.30 PM (EST/GMT-5) entitled Digital Resilience in the Age of Rapidly Evolving Artificial Intelligence (Ai).

“The session will spotlight the topical issues of cybersecurity, data privacy and telecommunication while interrogating their intersection with artificial intelligence (Ai), as a tool for good, to further strengthen digital resilience across the region. Telecommunication infrastructure and security architecture are critical underpinning for business continuity and success. The growth of globally competitive industries, amidst active and increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks heighten the need for key industry players in Jamaica, the Bahamas, Cayman, and the Turks & Caicos to have a robust supporting telecoms network and security infrastructure. These strategically positioned sectors include, but are not limited to, banking and financial, business process outsourcing (BPO), government, manufacturing, tourism, and logistics. Not only is there need for ongoing connectivity but, as data breaches become more prevalent and security concerns increase, the need to ensure data privacy and security is even more important for government organisations and businesses across the Caribbean even further fueled by promulgation of various legislation. The stakes are high!”
