Signature Events

Since 1988 the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce has hosted a series of forums called the Candidates Forums to allow candidates to share their views and positions on key membership and community issues impacting the Cayman Islands.

Educates high school students nearing graduation on a variety of career and educational opportunities available to them.  Members from nearly every industry sector are available to connect with the future workforce and to encourage them now, to acquire the skills they will need to be successful, later.

The Earth Day Cleanup takes place in April each year. Held in conjunction with Earth Week, sponsored by our corporate members and aided by The Department of Environmental Health, this is the largest volunteer-driven event in the Cayman Islands.

This event offers the opportunity for local business leaders to enjoy a relaxed and informal lunch and engage in frank conversation on policy, procedure and revenue measures with members of the Legislative Assembly.

The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Economic Forum brings together industry and government leaders who share their ideas and insights that will help shape economic policy, boost the Islands’ competitive edge, and secure its long-term success and sustainability.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Education host the Golden Apple Awards each year to honour the teachers in our community. The event shows appreciation for the outstanding efforts of our educators and gives them the recognition and support they deserve. The Golden Apple Awards provides a platform for the Chamber, and the community, to show support for the development of education in Cayman.

Launched in 2017, this initiative, celebrates member firms and government statutory authorities for their for best practices and corporate citizenship.

Each year, members have the opportunity to participate in an exciting international excursion, planned, booked and managed by the Chamber Travel Club. Aside from the opportunity to travel internationally at a more affordable rate, the annual excursions allow members to network and experience travel together.

Chamber Members hosting a Business After Hours event are guaranteed a crowd of potential customers, eager to experience what the organisation has to offer.

As one of the Chamber’s most anticipated networking events, the Annual Golf Classic attracts participation from dozens of businesses each year. The tournament provides the opportunity for business-to-business networking while battling it out for the winning spot.

Information is the life’s-blood of the business community, and the Chamber strives to provide its Members with timely, accurate details of pertinent issues which will affect their organisations. Our BE INFORMED series does just that.
