COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is part of the Chamber Training Centre (CTC) Workplace Essentials category.
This workshop is the second of a two-part Beginner course and the continuation of Microsoft Excel – Beginner I. It is for those who have a basic grasp of Excel who need to gain an understanding of how functions and formulas work and how to have a successful printout in Excel.
Areas covered:
- Basic Excel functions and formulas (SUM, AND/OR)
- How to perform calculations in an Excel worksheet
- How to modify the worksheet view (freezing panes, hiding rows etc.)
- How to troubleshoot printing (page layout, margins, print scaling, orientation, header/footer)
All participants must have access to a computer to follow and to practice during the session.
INSTRUCTOR(S)
Sheree Martin
Sheree has been an IT trainer for many years with legal and financial services experience. She has a BSc in Computer Science and has Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), MCSA and MCSE certifications along with a training certificate from the Association for Talent and Development (ATD) in the US. She is presently working on her MSc in Management.
