Flu Clinic expands hours to Saturdays

The Health Services Authority (HSA) is expanding the operating hours of its dedicated Flu Clinic to increase accessibility for those who have flu-like symptoms, so they are able to receive convenient and timely evaluation and treatment.

The Clinic will now operate on Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in addition to its regular week-day hours from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. The clinic’s expansion to the weekend is among the many enhanced infection control strategies being implemented by the HSA to provide care for persons with flu like symptoms in a specialised environment from the general patient population and potentially reduce opportunities for influenza/COVID transmission.

The HSA continues to encourage persons with flu symptoms to first contact the 24-hour Flu Hotline at 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or flu@hsa.ky to speak to a health professional about their symptoms prior to visiting the clinic.

Flu symptoms may include:

  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Runny nose
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Chills

Please call the Flu Hotline or 911 if you experience worsening symptoms such as:

  • Sudden dizziness and confusion;
  • Severe or persistent vomiting;
  • Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen; or,
  • Difficulty breathing

Persons can access the Flu Clinic by parking in the Seventh Day Adventist Church Parking Lot with easy access to the clinic left of the Accident & Emergency (A&E) entrance. Signage on campus will direct patients to the clinic.

All persons are required to wear a facemask at all HSA locations.
