Port Cargo Unit to Reopen for Business Friday
The Port Authority’s Cargo Distribution Centre (CDC) roof received some damage.
As a result, the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI) now has to assess and catalogue the damage to the roof and cargo, clean up and restore the facility to a safe state to receive customers.
With the torrential rain and prevailing weather conditions, that is impossible to achieve today, Wednesday, 18 August 2021.
PACI therefore anticipates reopening CDC to the public on Friday morning.
PACI apologises for any inconvenience caused.
